Background

Donna has a strong sporting background, representing Australia twice in Track & Field and attending Australia's Premier Sporting High School, Westfields.  She is a 2 times State Silver Medalist in Karate and is a Region Level netball umpire.

Two consecutive serious injuries saw the end of Donna's athletic career but began her passion for musculoskeletal disorders.  With help from UPANDRUNNING's Orthotist and Physiotherapists, Donna has begun long distance running, completing her first half marathon in Ras Al Khaimah in 2011.

Experience

Donna gained her Diploma of Remedial Massage in Sydney, graduating with the top of her class.  She has had the pleasure of treating the Sydney Basketball Team, International and Elite Level Triathletes, Professional Tennis players and Olympic Martial Artists.

Starting work in a family owned Chiropractic and Osteopathic clinic introduced Donna to the world of spinal injuries and is where she developed her passion for acupressure and trigger point therapy.  After starting her own massage business, Donna found her niche massaging musicians and treating them specifically based on the instrument they played.  Now in Dubai, Donna is thoroughly enjoying having access to elite level athletes across a wide range of sports.

Interests

Donna is always happiest outdoors, enjoying running, skiing, paddle boarding and soccer.  She also enjoys listening to her vast music collection and artistic pursuits such as painting and photography.
