Special Interests:

Any musculoskeletal complaints including all sporting injuries, posture related injuries, repetitive strain, overuse injuries, non-specific muscle soreness. She has a special interest in diagnostic soft tissue ultrasound scanning and fitness testing.

Background:

Swedish born, Anna spent most of her youth in Dubai. She is married with 4 gorgeous girls ranging from 15 years to 8 months.

Anna qualified from Leicester University as a Family Practitioner, completed her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine in Nottingham and then gained her Fellowship from Ireland. She has worked as a Family Practitioner for a number of years but her passion is her Sports Medicine. Anna has also completed a PGCE in musculoskeletal ultrasound for scanning soft tissues to complement her clinical skills. She initially worked in musculoskeletal clinics for primary care trusts in the UK and had links with Leicester City Football Club, Leicester Tigers and Loughborough Athletes, but it wasn’t until her move back to Dubai that she really got stuck into it.

Experience:

She has now managed to gain fantastic experience working with a whole range of high end international athletes of all calibers.

She is the representing doctor for the PGA European Tour during their competitions in the Gulf. She is already affiliated with a large number of clubs, teams and individual athletes.

She enjoys the broader spectrum of the musculoskeletal services, often being referred challenging cases but also treating the sedentary population; encouraging fitness and change in lifestyle where applicable.

She is on a roll- there is nothing stopping her from doing what she enjoys the most; getting athletes UPANDRUNNING.

Interests:

Family activities, wide range of sporting activities, foreign travel, house project management/ interior design.
