Background:

Dr Sarah Peeters received her training at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, Europe, and finished her master in Medicine in 2001. She started working as an occupational health physician in 2001 while completing the Certificate of Post-academic Training in Industrial Medicine and the Master in the Advanced Studies in Occupational Medicine, both at the Catholic University of Leuven (2005). In October 2007, she followed the Civil Aviation Medicine course of the Monash University (Australia) in Dubai and received the Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine. She is board certified in Belgium, Europe, and licensed with Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Healthcare City as an occupational health specialist. Additionally, she is a registered physician for Oil & Gas UK (UKOOA) and is an accredited physician for the medical examination of seafarers in Belgium and Europe.

Experience:

Dr Sarah Peeters has extensive experience in the field of Occupational Medicine. She started her career as an occupational health specialist in 2001 for an OH provider in Belgium, serving a vast number of different companies, both corporate and industrial. When she relocated to Dubai in 2007, she joined Australian based Prime Health Group to establish their Dubai OH clinic. In April 2009, she transferred to Australian Family Care in Dubai Healthcare City and following the closure of this clinic in December 2009, she joined UPANDRUNNING.
