UPANDRUNNING has a wealth of knowledge and experience at providing both professional pitch side and event coverage. As a team they are equipped to provide both medical,

Physiotherapy and sports therapy cover at some of the more popular events (see the events diary).

UPANDRUNNING already have affiliations with many local sporting groups, clubs, associations, personal trainers, coaches and managers from all aspects of the sporting world. We have an increasing international athletic competitive patient load, especially international level triathletes, runners, tennis players, golf players, rugby players, motocross riders, swimmers, cricket players and umpires.

Individually all the clinicians have links with different teams and clubs which they support and provide advice and guidance for.

The sports therapist is already dedicated to providing emergency response and triage to acute injuries from the side of the pitch to a number of teams, covering both training and competitions in rugby union leagues, Dubai amateur football league, Arabian Gulf rugby team and of course the International Dubai 7’s rugby tournament. We also have great experience from working with the WTA and ATP tennis associations, Golf tournaments, Formula 1, Cirque du Soleil, and the Cricket Academy.

UPANDRUNNING’s Sports Medicine Specialist is also the allocated representing Doctor for the PGA European Tour during their competitions in the Middle East.

Our aim is to provide support to the increasing number of established teams and events as well as ad hoc tournaments as we continue to grow and expand.

We also hope to expand this to include school competitions, tournaments and match days in the future by linking up to provide professional sporting injury standards to those that deserve it. It will be an incentive to work harder for the competing amateur athlete and provide reassurance to the parents.
